April Sosa, MD |
April Sosa is a third-year resident pediatrics resident practicing in New York. She grew up in the Washington Heights neighborhood in New York City and attended undergraduate school at The George Washington University, earning her degree in Biology. She subsequently attended a post-baccalaureate program at Rutgers University and thereafter graduated medical school from The Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Passionate about mentorship and advocating for vulnerable populations, she hopes to provide guidance to those students seeking to enter the medical field, knowing that those growing up in underserved areas have few opportunities to enter the healthcare field pipeline. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, playing piano, sketching, and playing video games.

German Lavenant, MD |
German Lavenant is a first generation Mexican-American who attended UCLA in 2012 where he completed a double major in Biochemistry and Psychobiology in 2016. Afterward, he attended the University of Southern California for Medical School from 2020 until May 2024 where he applied and matched into Emergency Medicine Residency Program at Kaiser Permanente, in San Diego. German is currently a PGY-1 and his medical interests involve addiction medicine, street medicine, and refugee medicine.

Claud is a current Emergency Medicine resident at the Medical College of Georgia after completing medical school at the Medical College of Georgia. Claud was born in Cameroon and is very interested in assisting other immigrants who are interested in medicine navigate this tenuous path. His interests include music and soccer.

I am a first-generation Armenian American born in San Francisco, CA. I am currently a chief emergency medicine resident at Kaiser Permanente Central Valley. In my free time, I love spending time with family and friends, practicing jiu jitsu, cooking, and hiking. I chose emergency medicine because I enjoy resuscitating and stabilizing, performing critical procedures, using ultrasound, and wearing cargo pants to work.
